Zentangle

I thought I would start to post about my newest crafty thing I am learning.. Zentangle. It is extremely relaxing and gives you some very very satisfying results. It has been so long since I picked up pencil and pen and expressed myself on paper. I hadn't realized just how much I missed it. I am hooked. I even look at every day things differently now. There are many awesome websites and artists out there doing Zentangle. Eventually I will post some links, but for today I really wanted to post some of my latest works. Thanks for looking :)

  This one I made in my art journal. It is for a challenge here. This was my first challenge and I know i will be doing more because I really enjoyed it! Well, I am off to get some housework done so I can sit down and do some more tangling!

WIP

Wow, it's been quite sometime since I updated my blog. I would like to get in the habbit of making regular posts. I will do what I can. With three kiddo's, this being the last day of school for two of them, it makes it tricky to get computer time and crafting time. I will leave you with my latest WIP

 This is the pattern my by my friend Katina who does some amazing abstract paintings. I asked her if she would come up with something, anything, in her style for me to embroider. I think she did an awesome job. It's perfect!
